I have no idea what to do, I cannot install any anti-virus software and my Sophos AV software does not work. I tried installing malwarebytes, but in normal and safe mode this program will not install. I downloaded rkill, the program which I think allows you to run things when infected with malware, but even in safe mode this program will not install/run (I also tried downloading rkill under different names but they have not worked either). I am almost guaranteed my computer is infected - I had a blue screen of death for the first time, my Sophos AV software stopped working, I cannot install any new AV software, my Google Chrome crashes as soon as it opens and many programs won't even start. Firstly, my knowledge about computers is very limited and I have never had an infected computer before, so keep the instructions basic enough/explain them so I can follow.
